Description

Asked about the term ‘woke’, most Britons in 2023 (57%) know what it means”. This is up from 41% in early 2021.

Indeed, the term "woke" has evolved in recent years. Increasingly, it refers to being aware of social issues such as racism, inequality and injustice, and actively working towards addressing these problems. Its interpretation can vary among individuals.

According to YouGov, among people who use the term, the vast majority do so in a pejorative sense – 73% use it in a disapproving way, compared to only 11% who employ it approvingly. At UnLtd, we're curious to understand our network's perspective.

To that end, and as far as you understand the term, do you consider yourself to be "woke"?
